Yes, you did read that right – £199 for a seven-drawer seatbox that also includes a wheel kit and trolley system, padded pole seat with pole hook and adjustable legs. Add a folding aluminium footplate, a side tray and a bump-bar system to the list and you’ve got even more value for money. This box could quite easily command a much higher retail price and when we first saw it we were half expecting a price tag in the region of £250 to £300.

It’s a very well thought out aluminium-construction design with plenty of storage space, that the vast majority of anglers would probably struggle to fill. The six front and one side drawers are made from aluminium, like the box, so they won’t warp like wooden drawers and they also have a magnetic locking system to stop them opening when you don’t want them to! There is storage under the seat for pole winders and the deep base unit will easily house things like reels and catapults.

Verdict

A very well designed seatbox at a ridiculously low price. Great value for money!
