This three-part range is ideally suited to the all-round match angler who wants to own just one pole for all types of match fishing.
They are made in slightly larger diameters from the No6 section upwards to increase rigidity and maintain balance. The top threes, fours and fives from the existing Sensas poles still fit onto this No6 section. Each pole has a reinforced spiral wrap on the No4, No5 and butt sections to reduce the chances of small cracks appearing when pressure is applied.
Importantly, each pole measures longer than the stated length so you won’t be left with a very short pole once it’s cut back. The 86XL is an out-and-out match pole with ultimate balance, response times and rigidity, making it one of the lightest and best match poles on the market for silver-fish anglers. The 76XL is much stronger and is the all-rounder in the family. It’s slightly heavier than the more expensive 86XL model but this converts into pure strength and this pole can be used for any type of match fishing. The 56XL is a brilliant commercial-fishery pole but will still find fans on the silver-fish scene as it retains rigidity and balance. If you’re a heavy-handed silver-fish angler this is the pole for you!
All three of the XL poles come with extensive spares packages containing seven spare top kits, and for 2010 you’ll receive two extra kits on top of the standard package!
