The talk of the show – before, during and after – was this Japanese bait company fronted in the UK by Roy Marlow and John Loftus.
Marukyu has the majority market share in Asia and uses a scientific approach to bait manufacture, making this venture into the UK interesting as it’s something our market has never seen before on this scale. It bases its products around many ingredients so that fish don’t ever become aware of certain flavours. The ingredients include seaweed, silkworms, water snails and many other complex mixes that have been proven to attract and hold fish in your swim.
The current Marukyu range includes groundbait, powder additives, liquids, pastes and pellets. We’re looking forward to seeing more of these products when they’re released in early 2010 and will get the information to you as soon as we get it.
