Up Close: Sensas Crazy Bait Big Bag Groundbaits - 27/07/2010
Larger bags of groundbaits that are commercial-fishery friendly are becoming very popular with match anglers.
They offer good value for money and most of the time will cover you for a full session. Sensas has just released a range of five fishmeal groundbaits under the Crazy Bait banner, each coming in 2kg bags. Each mix is slightly different and will offer the user a multitude of potential uses. The five mixes are Stimul-8 Green, White Explosion, Ground Pellet Method Mix, Halibut & Hemp Mix and Carp Method Feeder. The last two mixes are designed with big fish and speci anglers in mind, while the first three are specifically for match anglers.
The first three mixes are very fine in texture and mix up into a lovely soft, fluffy mix. They can be mixed to various consistencies to suit the situation and can even be used as a paste. The Stimul-8 Green mix is based on ground koi pellets and has very few other ingredients, so this is great for commercial fisheries where pellets are the staple diet. The Ground Pellet Method Mix also has a high carp-pellet content but contains binders to make it slightly stickier and help it mould onto Method feeders. White Explosion comes on the back of the successful launch of the Sensas Light Carp Pellets and this is simply a mix of these pellets, ground down. On impact this mix leaves a white milky cloud that is sure to attract curious fish.
Just as you’d expect from Sensas these groundbaits are top quality and have been tested by many of its commercial-fishery experts to make sure they’re up to the job.
