Question: What should i look for in a decent seat box? I have about £500 to spend. Adrian Evans

What you would regard as a ‘decent’ seat box very much depends on what you need from it. I use a Rive D36 because it’s very stable, comfortable and most of all versatile. I appreciate Rive are expensive boxes, but it would well be worth taking a look. You can probably pick up a brilliant second-hand one for the sort of money you’re looking to spend, or you should take a look at the Tourament 400 from Daiwa.
If you fancy your chances we have three Tournament 400 boxes up for grabs in the November issue of the magazine.
In my experience though the key things to look for are a good interchangeable stacking system, so you can tailor it to any venue’s requirements, and a good range of accessories.
