Top club action on the Trent at the Preston Innovation World Club Classic this weekend.
All eyes will be on the River Trent's Newark Dyke in Nottingham this weekend for the annual Preston Innovations World Club Classic competition.
Ten teams of six anglers will be competing on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 September for the chance to represent England in the FIPSed World Club Championships in Portugal in 2012.
Sponsors Preston Innovations are providing the cash injection of £7,000 to support the winning team in representing their country, with the winning individual taking away a £1,000 prize.
The event will feature the top 10 teams in the Division 1 National Championship, meaning some of match angling's most consistent and skilled competitors will be there showing their ability.
This year's competing teams include Division 1 overall winners Daiwa Dorking, along with Barnsley & Distrinct AAS, Maver North West, Browning Hotrods, Hull Works Sports Association, Maver Image VDE, Starlets Kamasan, Dynamite FoxMatch Trent, Daiwa Doncaster and District, and Drennan North West.
