Anglers raise over £700 for Help for Heroes charity at Redbridge Lakes.
A charity match held at Redbridge Lakes, Essex has raised over £700 for Help for Heroes.
The event saw over 30 anglers turn out to the in-form silver fish venue, although both waters, Cuthbert and Daisy lakes, delivered hard sport on the day.
Changing tactics to keep up with the fish, in the end it was a bag of 34lb 12oz caught by Mark Scott which won the day, with his net including chub, bream, tench and gudgeon.

In total £710 was raised, with 100percent of the proceeds going to the extremely worthy charity.
The event was organised by Joy Morris, a mother of four who has a son in the Rifles regiment soon to be deployed to Afghanistan, and Redbridge Lakes owner Gordon Bullock.
