It's neck-and-neck at the halfway stage as both Lee and Gary find their rhythm.
We're just past the halfway stage now and things are really hotting up.
Lee Kerry is still ahead on numbers by fishing meat on a top kit plus one section, but Gary has finally settled into a tidy catching rhythm a pole section further out. The Maver Bait-Tech star is catching well up in the water with maggots and has just had a great run of chunky F1s to put him firmly back in the race. Everywhere you look there is red elastic flying out as fish after fish find their way into their keepnets. The spectators are still debating who is ahead and it's already looking like a close-run battle going into Day Two.
Don't forget, this event is free to watch and there is also a free raffle each day with some top Drennan prizes up for grabs, including a Series 7 rod and goodie bags including the new Drennan Method Feeders and moulds. Tomorrow is where things will really hot up, so get yourself down to Docklow Pools and watch two of the best in the business in fish-catching action!
