The biggest fishing show in the UK is back for 2012 – with more things to buy, see and do than ever before.
Being held at Farnborough Airfield, Hampshire, The Big One show has now been running for an amazing 26 years. But that hasn’t seen organisers sit on their laurels, with this year's event seeing a whole host of attractions over the two-day show – including more celebrity anglers than ever before.
Match anglers will be able to meet and chat to such big names as Dennis White, Keith Arthur, Bob Nudd, Perry Stone, Mark Pollard, Andy Kinder, Jan Porter, Dave Harrell, Allan Scotthorne. Plus with masses of retailers, exhibitor – including Preston Innovations, Sensas, Garbolino, Maver and Guru to name a few - and seminars to take you’ll be able to fill every second of your visit. Match Fishing will also be there, so make sure you come over and say hello.
"It's the original and still the best fishing show in the UK in both its physical size and the number of people that attend," show organiser Vince Davies told Mach Fishing.
"It grows every year, and for 2012 we've got loads going on; loads of retailers, the biggest names in tackle, more angling celebs than ever and two seminar halls running talks on everything and everything fishing across the two days. In fact we've seen an increase in people booking two-day tickets for the show because they just can't see everything they want to in just the one day!"
Taking place over the weekend of March 10 and 11, you can find out more details on the show at the official website here.
