Glen Lawrence and Darren Cox talk to MF on the bank in Ghent as the two-hour mark passes.
"We’ve had a great start, we just need to keep amongst the bream and maintain momentum!" That's the view of England team coach Glen Lawrence after the first two hours of the second day of the World Feeder Champs, as he spoke exclusively to Match Fishing at the heart of the action.
As the rain continues to pour down on Ghent, the action still sees four of the five England anglers finding the bream. Steve and Phil Ringer both have four in the net, Mick Vials has caught two and Dean Barlow has just added a third to his total in the last few minutes. Only team manager Tommy Pickering has yet to find them, a similar situation to yesterday’s run of play as England’s Darren Cox told MF:
“It’s almost a carbon copy of yesterday with four of the five England anglers catching bream,” said Darren who yesterday was the England angler struggling to locate the all-important species. “Overall it’s looking pretty good for us, but Tommy has drawn in an area where the bream aren’t showing at the moment.
“If it all falls into place, a medal is still definitely on the cards, however Ukraine and Hungary are both looking like they’re fairing well again.”
