What a week it has been for features! The cold weather is truly making its mark with Sheffield and other areas in receipt of snow.
Typically this is always a tough time for angling as the 'change' is upon the country. However, once things have stabilised and the fish have become accustomed to the cold the fishing should pick up again.
The features have been tough and in a very short space of time the weather really has turned against us. The January issue is on sale the 30th of this month, but we have been out putting the finishing touches to the February issue too.
All of the guys we were out shooting features with were great – it's not really a job when you enjoy it so much, is it? Alan Scotthorne's feature makes for thought-provoking reading while Gary Miller and Roy Marlow get the interview treatment. We look inside Ringer's seatbox, Andy Kinder shows how to catch feet from the bank in Jan and we reveal the winners of the 2011 Tackle Awards (voted for by readers of MF)! There's also a couple of cracking comps...don't miss the Jan issue.
