Our cover star for the November issue is Pemb Wrighting, and in his feature he runs through how he tackles catching carp on the Method feeder as the seasons change from autumn to winter, and the importance of finding the fish rather than waiting for them to come to you. Will Raison is also on a hunt for cold-water fish, this time with an ‘old-fashioned’ cage feeder approach for F1s and skimmers, while river ace James Robbins visits the Trent for a spot of whip fishing for small fish, whilst trying to avoid some toothy predators along the way.

Frankie Gianoncelli gets among them using a big waggler approach and Andy May sticks to the pole but changes from hard to soft pellets to target F1s.
