Dynamite Makins Midweek
A midweek mixed bag with good figures from Phase One's Lake Two but hard fishing on Phase Three.
WEDNESDAY ‘KOBRA’ OPEN
31 August 2011
LAKE TWO DYNAMITE MAKINS
21 fished
Although fish were again showing all round Lake Two for the Wednesday KOBRA Open, Coalville’s Pete Wood on peg A20 was a clear winner with 126lb – beating second by nearly 25lb. Pete started on the feeder, but after a few early carp sport slowed so he switched to pellet waggler fished to the boom to catch steadily for the remainder of the match.
Second placed Shane Desmond (Dynamite Baits) on peg A4 caught on pellet and bomb for his 101-04 second placed weight, just edging out Nuneaton Nomad Jim Innes (peg A14) whose 101-02 carp catch all fell to pellet waggler.
