Makins Kobra Thursday Open

Plenty of carp coming out in Thursday's open at Dynamite Makins phase 3.

EVENT:     THURSDAY ‘KOBRA’ OPEN
VENUE:     DERWENT LAKE, DYNAMITE MAKINS
DATE:       October 27
Number of pegs: 19

Steady rain throughout the Thursday KOBRA Open on Derwent at Dynamite Makins failed to stop fish feeding and with everyone catching it was a good match.

Top weight went to Wigston’s All Seasons Angling boss John Hall. Pole fishing pellet tight to the island on peg 23, John landed 12 carp (losing five) to put 60-08 on the scales.

Taking second place was Long Eaton’s John Adamson (Kobra Feeders) on peg 29, who fell just 2-00 short with 58-08. John caught five carp on pole and pellet tight to the island (losing another five) had one ‘down the track’ and five more on method feeder.
