The final round of the Sensas CHL played out on a cold Kennet & Avon Canal.

After the mild weather in the week, the cold snap made the fishing quite hard in general with most of the bigger weights including bonus fish.
Nathan Hawke won the match with 7 lbs 8 ozs.  He was drawn on an end peg between ferry lane bridge and the old lock.  He caught 4 chub of up to a pound and a half, 2 on caster and 2 on worm, taken right over.  He had around a pound and a half of bits taken on bread and castor to add to this.

2nd was Liam Braddell with 7 lbs.  He was drawn downstream of diggers just before the first reedbed.  He really struggled for bites catching only 8 small fish throughout the match but matched to catch 3 big perch.  He also lost 2 big perch.  He caught all the perch under a small bush on the far bank on the tail of a lobworm.

3rd was Gary O'Shea with 6 lbs 14 ozs.  He was pegged next to Nathan by the old lock.  He started on bread and had only 3 fish which was 2 skimmers and a bream of 2 lbs 8 ozs.  He then fished castor right over and caught 8 small perch, a big perch of around a pound and a half and a chub as well.

Preston Innovations Thatchers B and Maver Bathampton Red produced great teams performances, taking 8 of the top 9 individuals in the match.  They tied on 26 points which means that Thatchers B win the league by a point and a half from Bathampton Red.  In the B division BTM Services won yet again to comfortably win the division by 8 points.

Tim Ford (P.I. Thatchers B) put in another good performance to win his section and take the individual title with 48 points out of a possible 54.  He also wins the biggest fish prize with a 6 lbs 2 oz barbel taken earlier in the series.  2nd was Lee Trivett (P.I. Thatchers A) with 46 points.  3rd was Nathan Hawke (Maver Bathampton Red) with 44 points.

In the knockout Paul Purchase (M&N Services) narrowly beat Andy Ottaway (Town & Country) by catching 1 lbs 5 ozs to Andy's 1 lbs 3 ozs.
