Shakespeare Championship Qualifier

Roger Clutton tops midweek qualifier.
Maver Milton Keynes rod Roger Clutton has continued his good run of form – and has now qualified for both the Shakespeare and the Wychavon Finals in just three visits to the river!

On a hot but overcast day Roger attacked his peg with groundbait, catching four good bream on the pole with a running-through rig from Peg 64 above the Ferry.

In second place was RAF rod Michael Dcaccia. Michael took a bream and several perch and eels on long-pole tactics, fishing with a flat float and feeding chopped worm and caster through a baitdropper.

Third-placed John Whitehouse caught a net of perch and eels on flat-float tactics from Peg 71.
