The first of the WWL qualifiers got under way on Sunday and preston innovations and sonu backed Mick Stamp drew peg 13 on skylark and presented pellet across to the island and placed mainly small F1 s  and Tench on the scales for 58lb 4 oz just pippin hunstantons Rob Pepper off the golden peg who fished maggot down the track to tempt 7 bream and small skimmers and F 1 s for 57lb  6oz from peg 5

Thursdays over 50 s open was once again well attended and the ever consistent John Gooden took the spoils fishing and feeding maggot at 11 m from peg 30 on skylark .Johns catch mainly consisted of ide . second place was once again chris mawyer fishing his paste approach down the track .
