Thursday’s over 50s match was switched to the popular Kestrel Lake, and match organiser Ron Roberts just edged out Bag ‘Ems Smudge Smith.

Ron used double dead red maggot over Marukyu groundbait to take 18lb 4oz of carp, ide and barble.
