Good fishing on Makins Lake 2  with over 40lbs needed to make top 10.

Although fishing followed a cold, clear night weights were generally lower than expected, with fish caught all round Makins Lake Two in the Wednesday KOBRA Open and over 40 lb required to make the top 10.

Ian Hughes (Browning) was late to his peg (B21) as he'd forgotten his rods and had to return home to collect them. Fishing pellet on bomb he had indications throughout the match and ended with 68-12 for a clear win.

Billy Knight (Tackle Shack) on B11 also fished bomb and pellet for his 61-00 to take second place in his first match on the venue, third place going to Dave Kent (Long Eaton Victoria AS) with 59-04 caught similarly on peg B17.
