Following 3 days of heavy pressure with the Fishomania and Maver Classic this was always going to be a slow starter, but despite rock hard conditions on the Speci Lake on day one Larford bounced back in style with excellent weights recorded by the 21 competitors for the rest of the week.

Geoff Hiley was the deserved overall winner with a string of ultra consistent performances. Second placed Gordon Smith pulled off a miraculous comeback after a disastrous day one to take 3 sections wins in row.

Top weight of the week was Nathan Lumb with a superb 203lb taken from the margins on the grass bank.
