Kestral Lake

Sundays open contest was won by Kings Lynn youngster Adam Playford using his trusty method approach from peg 7. Alternating between dead maggot and 6mm pellet hook baits, he tempted an all carp bag for a 45lb 10oz total – a weight that just edged out George Warren who fished waggler for 43lb 9oz.

Tuesday Open
Skylark Lake

Tuesday’s open was won by the in form Alec Rawlings, making it two wins out of three for the angler. Using his flavoured bronze maggot approach tight across he took small carp, chub, tench and bream for 34lb from peg 38.

Over 50s Open
Skylark Lake

Thursday’s popular over 50s open contest was tight. Out in front was Trevor Ogalvie with a catch of bream and stocky carp for 44lb 8oz, just ahead of Ropsey AC’s Barry Hawkins.
